Job Description:
- Translate game and marketing text from English into German.
- Test games in German to identify problems in the game.
- Write clear, accurate and concise descriptions of all issues found.
- Where necessary offer solutions to problems and contribute to the overall development of a game.
- Work with the Localization Manager to ensure work is completed in accordance with project deadlines.
- Liaise with other appropriate team members conducting discussions in a professional and diplomatic manner in relation to project tasks ensuring a way forward has been agreed.
Essential:
• Must be a native-level German language speaker
• Good level of English, both orally and written
• Team orientated
• Working knowledge of WORD, EXCEL and ACCESS
. Ability to cope under pressure and to work to tight deadlines
. Detail conscious
Desirable:
• Educated to a degree standard or above would be advantageous, but does not have to be computing related
• Competent games player, experience across platforms
