Fantastic opportunity to join our vibrant, dynamic sports research consultancy as a European Football Analyst.
A permanent position at Smartodds in our London based office has arisen due to rapid growth of the company.
This is not your typical 9-to-5 job and you will be expected to work evenings and weekends, when most of the football matches are being played.
We are looking for self-motivated and hard-working individuals, who live and breathe football and possess encyclopaedic knowledge of football.
The role entails researching information and writing comprehensive previews and reviews for games, as well as providing live analysis of these games.
Essential skills
- Comfortable with numbers – being able to rapidly compile odds and to estimate win probabilities.
- Encyclopaedic knowledge of football.
- Fluent in both English and another language.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, meticulous and have the ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines.
Desirable skills
- Academic and mathematical background having achieved at least a 2:1 or equivalent.
- A good record of strong team working skills.
