A new and exciting position has been created for a high-calibre sales engineer. The role is a new role, supporting the sales team in selling ISYS products into targeted sectors within the EMEA end user business market. It will involve supporting sales both for the Knowledge Business Unit and working with the wider organisation to assist in sales of enterprise search software. The role is part of a growing sales and support team, with high quality, proven technology and significant growth expected in the next 5 years.

‘MUST-HAVE’ QUALITIES/EXPERIENCE
• 8 years minimum pre-sales experience, in one of the following disciplines:
o Enterprise Search (preferred)
o Knowledge Management (preferred)
o ECM
o BI
o And/or other Information Retrieval software/services
• Key characteristics:
o Smart/intelligent
o Able to ‘read’ people and empathise with their business problems
o Highly IT literate and capable
o High energy
o Team player - with personality to match
o Mobile – prepared to travel
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree/discipline/experience
• Understands enterprise application development and delivery
• Knowledge of concepts and topics surrounding internet based applications including Web 2.0, cloud computing, virtualization, SOA, web-services etc
• Working knowledge of SQL Server, Exchange, Sharepoint, Domino, HTML
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, SMTP
• Understands various computer languages and programming concepts including Java, C#, .Net, SQL, AJAX, JavaScript
• Strong computer skills in using Microsoft Office, WebEx or similar web conferencing product, and CRM or sales management tools
