The role: YouTube Online Partner Strategist (Australia and New Zealand, India, SE Asia)
YouTube's growing user base provides unique challenges and new responsibilities everyday. Fast-paced, dynamic and proactive, the Content and User Operations team serves YouTube's advertisers, publishers and users around the world. Like a diligent detective, your responsibilities are to uncover and understand common issues facing these groups, and then work with the right teams to tackle the problem. Whether surfacing issues to our technical teams or recommending improvements to the team's processes and tools, you enhance the user experience on YouTube while helping increase our loyal user base over time.
As a YouTube Online Partner Strategist, you will use your interest for video, the media, and the internet, to acquire a deep understanding of our APAC content provider's business and distribution goals and will be responsible for managing partner activities and representing YouTube's user, product, and program interests to the partner. Responsibilities include giving launch support to new partners, planning forecasting and reporting partner metrics, driving new business opportunities, and ensuring prompt and proper resolution of business and technical issues with the partner. You will work a key member of a dynamic team, representing the needs of Australia & New Zealand, India, and SE Asia partners in partner program planning and development. Ideal candidates will be as comfortable in a partner-facing capacity interacting with content providers, as in working cross-functionally on programs to encourage/enable providers to make their content discoverable through YouTube.






Responsibilities:

* Provide proactive partner management for top-tier partners - account planning, proactive support and optimization, new business development
* Work on India, S.E Asia, Australia & New Zealand partner program communication and reactive support, including maintaining and developing new 1:many communications for partner support and optimization
* Plan, track, analyze and report partner metrics for S.E Asia, Australia and New Zealand partners, and take ownership as leader of your market





Minimum qualifications:

* BA/BS degree. In lieu of degree, 4 years of relevant experience.





Preferred qualifications:

* 4 years of work experience, including 2 years of related account or partner management experience.
* Knowledge of online video and experience in online entertainment or new media with an understanding of the online entertainment space as well as YouTube.
* Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills and comfortable working with internal and external clients.
* Demonstrated success in process management and client/partner support, with flexibility and ability to work with diverse regions and to work as needed on timely delivery of content to the region
* Fluency in English. Other regionally relevant language skill.
