Job Description

To provide professional, high level customer service support to our existing and potential clients, maximising on all sales opportunities coming into our global customer service centre.

You will be the primary contact point for the client after the Account Manager. You’ll act as a conduit for all client queries and will be responsible for presenting a consistent ‘face of SHL’ to the client.

Shifts: 36.25 hrs a week. 5 shifts, 7.25 hours between the hours of 07:30 – 18:00. Monday to Friday.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• To respond to all incoming enquiries by telephone, e-mail, web, fax or post line with client service levels. Aiming for first time resolution wherever possible.
• To fulfill client product orders (pen and paper, online, offline), training requests and license purchases
• To maximise on all sales opportunities; up-selling, cross-selling and promoting current offers, sales appointment booking, lead qualification and forwarding to sales.
• To understand the SHL organisation structure and to liaise and build strong relations with internal teams, locally and remotely.
• To actively manage the client database, alongside sales support and the sales team, to ensure client information is accurate and up to date.
• To understand SHL’s solution, training and service offerings and how these compare to SHL’s competition, especially for territories outside of the UK.
• To provide pre and post technical sales support to Clients using SHL’s range of ‘Off the Shelf’ and ‘Internet Based’ IT solutions
• The vast majority of time will be spent responding to inbound queries, with some outbound call activity on occasion (no cold calling).

Key requirements:

• Customer Service experience, ideally dealing with inbound and outbound sales enquiries.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French
• Fluent in English
• Good at building relationships and excellent communication skills
• Strong team player.
• Comfortable working with processes and procedures
• Customer service and performance focused approach.
