JOB SUMMARY

The Client Trainer will perform the tasks and duties associated with the implementation and product training of Ariba products. The individual will be primarily responsible for delivering quality training classes in Ariba Learning Centres, at customer locations throughout the EMEA region or virtual instructor lead training.

The individual will also support department goals by assisting in testing and evaluation of new education products and training materials as needed, support internal training requirements and creation of custom training materials and/or tailored training sessions. The ideal candidate is an individual with experience in procurement, sourcing and Training / Education who is interested in training and sharing knowledge and experience with others.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Facilitate functional, administration and technical customer training classes (standard and custom).
Excellent communication skills and ability to work at remote locations in a variety of customer environments.
Ability to create custom training materials as required.
Knowledge of Ariba products and services.
Ability to understand customer training needs and the ability to translate that in to training plans.
Share sourcing and procurement knowledge and experience with the customer.
Ability to work autonomously and creatively.
Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment, prioritize multiple tasks and problem solving skills are required.
Ability to host remote / distance learning sessions via WebEx or similar tool.
Captures and organise information and conducts Training Needs Analysis with clients.
Flexibility is a must.
Extensive travel required.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Technical Writing, Business, Technology, or a related field or equivalent relevant work experience required.
IT technical knowledge is a strong advantage
Experience developing and delivering platform technology training is required.
Knowledge of purchasing and sourcing is preferable
Posses business knowledge
Training experience would be of an advantage
Ability to work in a changing environment
Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills.
Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Experience working in a team environment.
Ability to capture and organize information and conduct Training Needs Analysis with clients
Fluent English and German.
