Randstad Business support are currently recruiting an experienced Material Planner for a large Distribution company in Gloucester
Job Responsibilities:
As a Materials Planner, you will be:
* Purchasing components at best cost to the business
* Planning and expediting components to ensure on time delivery to the customer
* Monitoring and maintaining the material schedules
* Maintenance of safety stock levels, supplier lead times and MRP systems
* Investigating and challenging price increases and increase to MOQ's and MBQ's
* Justifying and raising infills
Preferred Skills:
* A background in supply chain
* International suppliers
* Computer Literate MS Office to include word and excel
Personal Attributes:
* Self Motivated
* Time management
* Organisational Skills

Normal working week is 37.5 hours, Monday - Friday 9.00am - 17.00pm
