The area: Partnerships
There's always more information out there, and our Partnerships team works to get it. We develop relationships with a range of organizations, from content providers to publishers, and find ways for them to reach their audiences and manage their digital businesses. We find great content for our products, and we also work with partner sites to syndicate our own Google products. From negotiating agreements to solving technical problems for partners, we're in pursuit of gathering the world's information.
The role: Account Strategist
The Online Partnership Group (OPG) grows Google's business with online publishers by helping them utilize tools from products such as AdSense and DoubleClick. Our team is made up of high-achieving specialists who work with partners in online advertising and e-commerce. We thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented and international environments. On this team you proactively identify, develop, support and maximize revenue opportunities from existing and new partners. In OPG, we strive to exceed partner expectations through building, supporting and maintaining long-term win-win relationships.
As an Account Strategist, you will proactively identify, develop, account manage and maximize revenue opportunities from existing and new AdSense publishers. You are a self-starter with a penchant for exceeding customer expectations through building, managing and maintaining long-term relationships.
Responsibilities:
* Maximize client revenue by daily account management and promoting improvement ideas as a dedicated consultant
* Enhance the quality of High Touch Torso accounts and grow them into Tier1 worthy accounts
* Collaborate with global product development team to meet local customer expectations
* Up-sell Google AdSense and other Google products for key partners. Scalable initiatives for the larger pool of Torso publishers to drive revenue growth
* Handle customer queries that come in directly or into the queues in India, while maintaing TAT and CSAT of the queues as decided by the global team
Minimum Qualifications:
* BA/BS. (In lieu of degree, 4 years of relevant experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
* Advanced degree.
* Exceptional customer focus mind and experience.
* Experience in the internet industry as ad sales person.
* Knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.
* Self-directed, motivated, and driven performer with exceptional multi-tasking abilities.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills for interaction with management, customers and sales team.
