My client an established market leader in the manufacture, installation and commission of a very wide range of stainless steel conveyor systems to the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries, is looking for a Sales Director / Head of Sales to become the driving force of the UK sales team. Attractive basic salary of £40,000 to £50,000 and generous OTE.
Job Responsibilities:
As Sales Director / Head of Sales you will:
Manage the Sales Team
Manage own Sales Area, generating leads and orders
Prepare proposals & quotations with the proposals engineer
Evaluate clients requirements & preliminary designs of layouts
Work from home and Head office, based in Luton, Bedfordshire
Lead and drive the Sales Team and deliver results.
Be a crucial part of the senior management team
Support sales team in 'closing' sales
Set up and maintain marketing campaigns
Controlling the marketing budget
Preferred Skills:
As Sales Director / Head of Sales you will have:
Proven track record in Sales of capital products
Proven sales and marketing Management experience
Good contacts in the food and beverage packaging industry
Experience & technical knowledge in packaging, Conveyor / Mechanical Handling Industry
Must be able to conduct accurate site surveys for costing & Sales proposals
Proven experience working with Blue Chip companies at all levels up to board level.
Capable of closing deals face to face from small values up to over 1 Million
Commutable access to Luton
Qualified to Degree/HND standard in Engineering
The ability to scheme up and cost Conveyor/Handling projects project from scratch
