Our client has an opening for their site in Prague, this site looks after the Finance and Accountancy Function.
DAILY DUTIES
-Leading and supervising General Ledger operations to accomplish the proper recording and reporting on a timely manner
-Ensure and support the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes
-Update processes in order to comply with adjustments of local and international laws related to VAT, Corporate Tax, Accounting & Trade legislations etc.
-Managing team of 5 – 10 GL accountants, being responsible for performance of the team, ensuring that the service levels are met
-Setting, managing and achieving strategic goals for the team
-Monitoring risk of service provided and ensuring implementation of mitigation measures
-Coaching, mentoring and developing team members
-Providing operational support to team members
-Handling client communication and escalations
PERFECT EMPLOYEE
-Speaks fluent Dutch and English
-Excellent managerial, delegating and communication skills
- Must have experience of People Management at least 1 year (does not have to be the management of GL’s)
-Must have GL experience (min 2 years)
JOB OFFER
-45000- 55000 CZK per month + 10% variable bonus annually (based on individual, team and company performance).
