The Personal Shopping Advisor role is to engage customers and inspire loyalty and drive
sales through providing outstanding levels of personal service and expert fashion and style advice.

Responsibilities:

•Turn all incoming sales and styling inquiries into tangible sales, maximizing each opportunity by understanding the customer’s style, designer preferences and lifestyle needs to make relevant suggestions
•Deliver a level of one on one service that is outstanding at all times. Follow up with each customer on you are in contact with for feedback on your suggestions, or on items
purchased through you
•Develop relationships with top spending customers to migrate them to the Personal Shoppers
•Build one to one relationships with customers in order to build your own customer base
•Use existing customer order history and wish lists to identify proactive sales opportunities and understand an individual’s shopping profile
•Conduct seasonal invitation only online styling appointments with high value customer
segments and convert recommendations into sales
•Proactively outreach to potential high and top spending customer segments identified by marketing each week
•Proactively suggest alternatives to sold out items at all times
•Support the business to sell depth buys and slower moving designers / categories through raising awareness to customers
•Assist with and participate in customer events as required
•Follow up with all new customer leads acquired through events and promotions to build
relationships and ultimately generate sales
•Be the point of contact for press and corporate contacts
•Support the Personal Shoppers with their customers enquiries and activities as required:
o set up preview files of upcoming products on a weekly basis
o support with resolving wider Customer Care related issues (Returns, Exchanges etc) and vice versa
o provide weekend and evening cover for Personal Shopping clients

•Provide weekly feedback on customer trends and product demands
•Identify re-order opportunities and trend demands, and notify manager
•Report on product issues to both Personal Shopping and Customer Care teams, providing valuable customer feedback to the Fit coordinators

Essential Skills & Requirements:

•Experience as a sales assistant within luxury women’s wear.
•Proven track-record of attaining sales targets and building relationships with customers.
•Excellent communication skills are essential to this role, specifically in regard to building relationships with customers.
•Must have high standard of written skills – articulate, with good spelling and grammar.
•Fluent in Japanese
•Numerate with strong computer literacy, particularly in Excel and Outlook.
•Illustrate extensive knowledge of the current trends and fashions within women’s wear
plus an understanding of luxury consumer shopping habits.
•Demonstrate a pro-active approach to sales and show use of initiative/ideas to constantly improve the customer experience.
•Ability to work hard and play hard, and be very flexible as part of a growing team.
•Excellent eye for detail and organisational skills.
•Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines.
•Must have the confidence to contribute ideas to the working processes at Net-a-Porter.
