SRGEurope have been appointed to recruit for an experienced Compliance Manager to join a leading Top 140 Law Firm in Warwickshire, providing Credit Management services across the UK. This is an excellent role for the right Compliance Manager with the ambition to work in a fast paced and growing sector. The company is well positioned financially and growing offering the right Compliance Manager the opportunity to play an instrumental part in the development of the company.
Compliance Manager Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of Compliance, Audit within the Debt Recovery unit
- To ensure that all debt recovery activity is compliant with all relevant legislation for both internal teams and external suppliers
- To perform quality and audit tests on both internal teams and external suppliers
- Data Protection & Information Security
- Client Rules & Service Level Agreements and other aspects collections policy
- Manage day to day any complaints that are received and deliver appropriate responses and remedies to the business to avoid repetition of complaint cause
- Provide support and guidance to staff as necessary
- Responsible for all Compliance related training of all Collections staff
- Perform audits and quality spot checks on internal staff, process and procedures and external suppliers
- Liaise with clients by telephone, correspondence and in person as necessary
- Attend external Compliance events
- Liaise with the Collections Manager on all areas of collections activity, process and procedure
- Participate in the marketing of the business as required, for example, assisting with seminars, supporting events, building and maintaining client relationships
- Maintain day to day relationships with suppliers, clients and other key stakeholders
- Deliver accurate Management Information to clients, suppliers and other key stakeholders in accordance with SLA's
- Attend and participate in internal team meetings and supervisory meetings as required
- Any other duties within the scope and spirit of the post as required
Compliance Manager Profile:
- Previous experience working as a Compliance Manager ideally in Credit Management Services or Banking and Finance
- Good understanding of Industry regulations
- Good collections or Financial Services background
- Excellent organisation skills
- Project management skills would be advantageous
