Our client is a successful global distributor who is currently seeking 6 Translators: Polish X2, Russian X2 and Simple Chinese (Mandarin) X2
Reporting to: Head of Marketing
Job Purpose:
Encourage the growth of the company in the specified country by translating existing games and producing appropriate promotional support material
Function:
To co-ordinate the production and delivery of country product
Duties:
Help define and update the country release schedule in conjunction with the Head of the country business and the direct line manager
Provide the appropriate amount of translation work for each project as agreed by you and your line manager
Propose ranges and release dates for each product and ensure we only use global stock items
Co-ordination with reprographics and print buying departments
Update the country website
The ideal candidates will fulfil the following criteria:
At least 3 years experience as a professional translator
You will possess the DipTrans or equivalent translation qualification although experienced translators will also be considered.
Ideally but not essential possess experience as an in-house translator
Personal attributes and behaviour:
