Our client, a leading e-commerce company is currently looking for a Multilingual Technical Support Specialist with either German, Italian or French as the main language for their European team in Wiltshire. The company drives the online shopping and order fulfillment processes for over 800 consumer brands, working with a large network of retailers.
The role would be to provide first line support, dealing with clients' technical queries, assist the Customer Service team with internal support and product training. The position also includes collaborating with a team of Merchant Support Specialists in the UK and the US to resolve client issues by telephone and email. Some occasional travel is required.
Candidates should ideally have knowledge and experience in software support in a Technical Support environment. Proven experience with web technologies such as HTML/CSS/Java Script , and it would be an advantage to have experience in XML, APIs, SQL, relational databases, PHP or other hosted applications. At least 2 or more years experience in a customer support environment it essential. Fluent German, Italian or French plus another European language and a good understanding of their culture, together with excellent communication skills in English is required. You must be able to work under pressure, and have an outgoing . Salary and benefits on application.
