About Our Client
My client is looking to recruit a assistant accountant to join the team in the Bootle area of Liverpool. My client is a distribution business with long established roots in Liverpool but also a national client base. My client operates with a family feel environment but is a large operation who are very well respected with clients and suppliers alike.
Job Responsibilities:
The accounts assistant will work with the Finance controller and report directly into the general manager solely for on site finance operations. The role would suit a generalist finance professional who has taken a lead on accounts administration role in a small medium size business. There will of course be other ad-hoc duties to undertake such as particular projects and acting as personnel assistant for the General Manager on ad-hoc basis.
Ideally you will have experience of posting and resolving invoices and queries, a strong Excel user and have used the Quick Books accounts system. The candidate will be a self starter and this position offer' s the opportunity to become an integral part of the business. The right candidate will have a pro-active approach and attitude and will demonstrate experience gained through out their career to deliver to deadlines and achieve targets.
Associated Benefits:
Salary circa £14,000 to £15,000 p.a.
