My client a multinational company based in West Yorkshire is currently looking for a qualified Swedish General Ledger Accountant to work within their brand new finance shared services.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a global brand in a fantastic environment. The Accountants role will be to perform activities required to ensure a timely and accurate processing of journal entries and period-end closure. The role will ensure correct Fixed Asset creation and depreciation and will support the Regional Supervisor in resolving issues and errors.
Each General Ledger Accountant will have an entity/country/region assigned to them and will report directly to a General Ledger Regional Supervisor.
This is an ideal opportunity for a recently qualified accountant, first time movers from practice are encouraged to apply. An understanding of US GAAP/ IFRS and SAP would be an advantage although not essential. In return for your hard work and commitment you will be rewarded with a competitive salary, bonus and a pension of up to 12%.
