Our client is a manufacturing company with a global reputation for excellence. They are currently seeking an inhouse translator/interpreter.
Main Responsibilities:
- Translate information from Japanese into English and English to Japanese
- Interpret verbal information from Japanese into English and English to Japanese (simultaneous & consecutive)
- Coordination with other Translation/Interpreting colleagues e.g. planning & delegation of work
Qualifications, skills and experience required:
- Excellent spoken and written English and Japanese skills
- Must be able to keep confidentiality
- Good PC skills particularly PowerPoint, MS Word and Excel
- High attention to detail
- Educated to degree level standard
- Flexible and prepared to travel as required
Desirable
- Some Automotive, Technical and/or Manufacturing knowledge
- Knowledge of TRADOS translation software
