The Role:

The Implementation Services and Support team (ISS) under Enterprise Products and Solutions manages the implementation and integration processes for clients for the following Bloomberg data products: B-Pipe, Managed B-pipe, and Server API as well as being involved in developing processes for new products.

The role involves supporting Sales in pre-sales conversations concerning technical and integration matters, and managing customer relationships from the time the Sales team closes a sale, through the implementation process and into production. Each representative develops and executes an implementation plan through consultations with the clients, and manages issues through the completion of the plan.

The team assists clients in a wide variety of areas such as bandwidth and capacity concerns, permissioning systems, and technical and network architecture while pulling in resources from other teams across the company when needed. Strong project management, communication, and problem solving skills are required for this role.

Requirements

- At least 3 years work experience
- Excellent technical knowledge of market data products
- Experience of installing, implementing and supporting market data technologies
- Good understanding of clients environment / systems
- Ability to manage all implementation and capacity aspects, coordinating with relevant technical divisions
- Familiarity with various platforms, operating systems and network routing protocols
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with an emphasis on documenting requirements, benefits, schedule, and updates
- Fluency in English and Japanese
