French Speaking Senior Translator £15.07 Per Hour

Job Purpose
Provide good quality and timely French translations to all areas of Sony Professional, and manage translation projects for selected internal clients.
Responsibilities
•Project manager for translations in all languages in selected business areas. This includes managing all their translations projects, maintaining quality, liaising with external suppliers, answering queries from freelance translators, providing estimates and raising invoices. Provide appropriate reports to client.
•Act as translation consultant to clients in order to advise on best practice before start of a project
•Responsible for growing and maintaining terminology database using Multiterm
•Account manager from the translation perspective for a marketing product pillar
•Responsible for ensuring external translation team is working to clients Professional standards in language of responsibility, including liasing with external proofreaders and agencies.
