The role: Food Services Manager, APAC
Google?s Global Food Team provides Googlers with high quality, exciting and nutritious food. In addition to managing the quality of all food and beverages in the Google cafes and Microkitchens, they are also responsible for managing and partnering with our food service vendors to ensure that all purchasing is cost-effective and upholds the Google food values.
As the Regional Food Service Manager, you will be responsible for the Google?s Food Service Program in Asia Pacific region and will have budget and reporting responsibilities for multiple locations in the region. You will need project management, strong analytical skills and solid business judgement to support strategic and tactical food service initiatives and operations. Open to new ways of doing business, you will be required to demonstrate a proven ability to deliver best-in-class, value-driven workplace solutions that support Google's unique and fast-paced culture. You are comfortable with technology and tools and willing to learn and utilize Google tools in daily operations.
You should be prepared for regular travel throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Responsibilities:

* Manage the overall contracts associated with food operations at Google, achieving compliance to all Google food service contract terms and SOWs.
* Supervise vendor relationships to ensure that top-quality services and products are delivered in a cost-effective manner.
* Evaluate day-to-day operations and services looking for ways to increase Googler satisfaction, implement unique solutions and technical improvement, eliminate waste and provide Googlers with information to promote health and wellness.
* Build strong relationships and partner with Google employees at all levels to enhance the end user experience and ensure high employee satisfaction levels.
* Provide strategic input for food service decisions, including cafe build-outs, expansions, downsizing, consolidations and acquisitions.

Requirements:

* BA/BS or equivalent in hotel management, nutrition, or related field from a leading institution with a strong academic record. Masters degree preferred.
* Proven experience in food service management or hospitality with emphasis on multiple site operations, contract and event management within a global organization. Multiple language skills a plus.
* Extensive experience developing and managing budgets (including capital budget justification) with strong financial, contract management and purchasing skills. Ability to analyze reports, metrics and trends.
* Effective team player, experience working across functions in a large organization, with strong customer service, communication, presentation and creative problem-solving skills.
* Ability to think "out of the box" and bring creative, non-standard, and innovative solutions to the table. Proven record of affecting strategic change and initiatives where prudent.
* People management and leadership skills, with proven ability to influence at all levels.
