Our client is a de-centralised agency of the EU, based in Canary Wharf, and is responsible for the evaluation and regulations of medicines used throughout the European Union. The Agency is a large, fast-paced and cosmopolitan organisation to work for; providing excellent training, benefits and working environment. We recruit for a range of secretarial roles on a temp-to-perm or long term basis.
Typically you would be supporting a team; finalising documents in all EU languages, implementing linguistic changes, coordinating large, complex international meetings (preparation and follow-up) liaising with meetings and conferences services, minute-taking, managing expenses, preparing correspondence, liaising by telephone, email and in person with variety of stakeholders, delegates and agents, typing, filing, managing databases and any other departmental tasks required.
Candidates must be EU passport holders who are fluent in English and at least one more EU language; educated to A-Level equivalent as a minimum and have strong skills and experience in: attention to detail, ability to prioritise, time management, communication and interpersonal abilities, sense of urgency, good MS Office skills with advanced Word and fast typing. Preference given to candidates with experience in large organisations and who have already worked in the UK.
