Duties
Develope the market for the companies products in the Network Security Management/Security Intelligence in Ireland.
This role is responsible for selling through the entire life cycle of the customer relationship, from initial development of leads, presentation of the product, closing the sale, implementation, to maintenance renewals on subsequent purchase anniversaries.
Responsible for driving sales of the company’s products into mid-market organizations comprising enterprise, local government, and small universities/colleges.
This position requires close coordination with other individuals within the company, including the Systems Engineering team and the Channels Management team.

Responsibilities:

Work with existing company lead generation processes, and manage the sales process from lead generation through close to maintain an adequate pipeline of pending business to meet and exceed quota.
Conduct remote (GoToMeeting) high level product demonstrations.
Coordinate remote technical presentations by the companies Systems Engineer.
Coordinate associated Reseller activities.
Generate and deliver product proposals and quotes (via channel).
Coordinate product implementation – by the reseller channel partner where qualified/certified, or by the companies Professional Services team.
Conduct follow up calls to sell upgrades, once yearly on-site professional services engagements (tuning, training, scope review), and other follow on products and services.
On annual purchase anniversary dates, secure maintenance renewals for the Market customer
Provide information and reports to the companies Sales Management as requested on a periodic basis, showing plans and activities in the territory.
Be diligent in use of the companies sales tools such as SalesForce.com in documenting sales activities.

Requirements:

Two years or more total industry experience – preferably including significant security product sales.
Proven track record of quota over-achievement.
Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Ability to articulate the value proposition of the companies solutions to successfully drive revenue without in person visits to prospects.
Demonstrated ability to use good business judgment to achieve company goals.
Knowledge of and the ability to work with channels partners.
Experience selling to and working in conjunction with professionals at all levels – within the company partners, prospects, and customers.
Some travel to corporate events and meetings.
College degree preferred.
