Job Description
French and/or German speaking Control Manager
Location: West London
Salary £35K + bonus plus benefits
As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for credit control across the group. This will involve direct management of the credit control team in London as well as active influence over colleagues in other departments in the UK, France and Germany. Also you will motivate the team by hands-on management of their work and benchmarking performance against targets, you will provide the Financial Controller and Directorate with efficient and effective escalation of any issues and manage resolution of the same in a ‘hands-on\' manner.
Manage the Sales Invoice Financing System and ensure that the system operates in a robust and well controlled environment and that the system is fully compliant with banking requirements.
Requirements:
•You must speak fluent English, French and German
•A proven credit supervisor with a background in people motivation and management with the ability to develop and implement process improvements and reports to address any issues preventing payment of debt.
•Experience of debt recovery in France and Germany, a working knowledge of both or either language is required.
•Knowledge of the Exchequer accounting system and managing an invoice discounting facility would also be an advantage although training will be given.
•Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and listening skills
•Self motivated with excellent organisational and time management skills
•Ability to build trust with both internal and external parties
•Demonstrable use of initiative and decision making skills and ability to remain resilient under stress
•Innovative and able to challenge existing processes
•Honest and ethical approach to business
•An ability to prioritise tasks and work on own initiative
•Good computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
