Our client, an international translation company is currently seeking a Senior Translator with French and German to work within their busy Western European language in-house team.

Responsibilities

- In-house translation of a range of materials from French and German into English
- Regular liaison with Project Managers to meet specific client requests and to schedule work load to maintain greatest standard of work and efficiency
- Training and mentoring Junior Translators

Requirements

- English to mother tongue standard with fluent French and German
- At least 3 years experience in the translation industry
- Experience in Technical, Software or Financial translation an advantage
- Excellent time management and organisation skills, plus a meticulous eye for detail
- Strong research skills
- Experience of translation memory tools to an advanced level

This is a permanent position paying circa £22,000 per annum
