Zephus Ltd, (a wholly owned subsidiary of Bureau van Dijk Electronic Publishing) is a Manchester-based electronic publishing and corporate finance research company.

We are currently seeking new researchers to join our company.

Written translation skills in the advertised language to degree level are necessary.

(Applicants will be required to carry out a written translation without the use of translation software).

Researchers analyze a daily download of news stories, looking for information regarding acquisitions mergers, joint ventures and share buybacks.

The researcher then creates and modifies deal records by collating information relating to the details of the transaction and company.

Applicants do not need any direct experience of corporate finance or business research, as on-the-job training will be given, however any relevant experience is an advantage. Willingness to learn is of up most importance.

Applicants should have an eye for detail, good organizational skills and a high standard of numeracy and literacy. Prospective employees must be proficient computer and internet users. Mature applicants also welcome.

Our office is based in central Manchester.

No formal dress is required, a flexi-time scheme is offered to cover the required 37.5 hours per week and a generous bonus scheme is available to all employees upon completion of their probationary period.
