ACCOUNT MANAGER (market research)
Salary: Up to £33,500
Location: Surrey
One of the world\'s best known market research houses are currently looking for an experienced Account/Research Manager for its prominent division.
You will be working with a defined group of blue chip clients (within DIY/office/photo markets) providing high level of client servicing, including in-depth presentations and consultancy. You will be working with data deliverables & be responsible for monthly data production. You will be actively participating in retailer presentations on the relevant markets. It\'s a great role for a candidate who is both analytical/numerical & commercial/client facing.
Ideal candidate:
•A successful applicant will come from account management background ideally within market research field
•Ability to understand and analyse data
•Full knowledge on universe and sample (understanding of research methodology / analytics / statistics)
•Understanding of market analysis models (SWOT analysis etc)
•Experience & understanding of data extrapolation & ability to set up product category and extrapolation
•Able to give client and retailer presentations (pervious experience of preparing & conducting presentations required)
•Full understanding of drivers in the market and ability to portray key trends using data
•Full knowledge of revenue base
•Able to identify, develop & close leads
•Full knowledge of ratecard theory and how to generate a quote
•Involvement on how to develop and maximise each account
•Able to give insight into the future of market trends
•Able to explain Retail Audit Methodology
•A logical thinker, able to dissect and analyse client queries, quickly and effectively
•You must have high energy & drive, customer focus attitude and enjoy learning new aspects of the role
•You must be passionate about quality standards and have unrivalled attention to detail
