SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER (market research)

Salary: Up to £35k - basic to £30K and additional £5k + BONUS!

Location: Surrey

One of the world\'s leading market research agencies is looking for a SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER to join their Retailer Services team. The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for a range of activities from sales & marketing to more general commercial management. The role demands exemplary client servicing skills, as well as enhanced people management, motivational, selling, account development, and product management abilities. The candidate will have direct contact and involvement in exceeding clients\' needs. This includes sound data analysis and interpretation, prompt response to client queries, client management and identifying opportunities for growth.

The successful candidate will have:

Experience in market research or insight (client or agency side)
Previous experience of working with retail organisations on the marketing / trading / insight side. Alternatively working with retailers as clients in a service capacity
Previous experience of market research and presentation construction/delivery is desirable
History of successful account management
Great negotiation skills
Experience of working with retailers will be very desirable
A good understanding of revenue base and ability to manage and forecast
Proficiency in presenting research findings
Very good analytical skills
The ability to demonstrate business acumen, initiative, analytical skills and the ability to communicate well (both in writing and oral)
Experience of using Word, Powerpoint and Excel. In addition, you will need to show an aptitude for quickly learning all in-house software packages
Willingness to work in Surrey (circa 20 min on a train from Waterloo)
