Assist in development and communication of budget packs to BU management including timetable, exchange rates, manufacturing assumption, targets and reporting requirements including reporting templates and Outlooksoft schedules
Provide support/guidance to BU management during budget process ensuring correct and consistent presentation of budget in accordance with European trading model
Review and challenge BU budget submissions and understand variance analysis
Assist in the preparation of balance sheet and cashflow
Assist in the preparation of final management budget pack and distribute to Senior Management
Review and challenge variance analysis files from plants
Review SGA forecast by function and identify issues requiring comment and explanation
Review and distribute Bu forecast and identify issues requiring comment and explanation
Review and challenge commentary and explanation provided by BU
Assist in update of MRF for commentary and explanation provided by BU
Assist in development and communication of budget guidelines and assumptions including timetable, exchange rates, targets and reporting requirements
Develop budget hearing process including standard review pack covering organisation and headcount, activity analysis (bottom up) cost vs benefit vs prior year, bridge analasyis, budget by currency (and CAPEX)
Provide support to GS management during SGA budget process
Participate in face to face budget hearing process, track action plans and ensure delivery in accordance with these plans
Develop month end reporting/forecasting pack including summary analysis and commentary to support BR summary
Provide support/guidance to GS management during SGA forecast process
Review and challenge GS submission ensuring ill and re/event commentary and explanation provided
Assist in the update of SGA summary report for commentary and explanation provided by GS management
