Operational Analyst with German or Benelux language skills
The Operational Analyst with German and/or French and Dutch language skills will have to ensure all electricity and natural gas supply contracts are negotiated in accordance with the Customer Service Level Agreement\'s of the company\'s Benelux and German clients and in line with the department\'s Trading Policy using your German, French and/or Dutch language skills.


Profile
Essential and desirable attributes for this role are:

·Candidate should be native speaker of one of the languages, either German, French and /or Dutch
·Fluency in an additional language from the region (written and spoken word); either German, French and /or Dutch
·Fluency in English (written and spoken word);
·Good understanding of the Benelux & German electricity and natural gas markets. This covers the commercial and legislative side as well as the regulatory aspects of the markets;
·Working experience within the energy industry. Preferably at an energy supplier on a customer focused level;
·An organised, detailed and methodical approach to task management;
·An ability to identify problems and resolve them swiftly;
·Good communication skills and full commitment to the role;
·Advanced knowledge of general software (typically, Microsoft Excel, Word and Access). Ideally the candidate has an understanding of Microsoft VB and/or abilities to develop solutions in other commonly used languages such as SQL, C, Delphi, PHP, html, etc.). The Programming skills would be looked at preferably, but are not essential.

Qualifications:
·A degree would be preferable;
·Another third language from the region is desirable.

Previous experience:
·Performing analytical tasks related to energy and developing solutions;
·Ability to working to deadlines and achieve results.

Personal skills:
·Highly numerate;
·A good team player;
·Excellent telephone manner;
·Organised and good at multi-tasking;
·A self-starter who likes to get the job done properly first time.

Circumstances:
·Willingness to travel, as the role will be divided between the UK and Benelux and Germany. The client expects that the majority of the time will be spent in Benelux and Germany. They will open a Benelux/German office in southern Belgium;
·The employment contract will be under UK law;
·Prepared to work the necessary hours to achieve the business objectives;
·Looking for a long-term career.
