The Role

We are searching for enterprising individuals to join our Data sales group. Data sales at Bloomberg is growing at a rapid pace and we are looking for swift and experienced professionals to help us expand our global sales operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the direct sales of reference and real-time financial data products. You will be managing accounts and providing solutions, organization-wide and to individual user groups and applications, within front, middle, and back office clients. You will use your strong interpersonal skills in this client facing role.

Requirements

-Understanding of operational and technical infrastructure of financial firms
-Knowledge of data licensing, warehousing and centralization
-Proven ability to identify new prospects and build lasting relationships
-Possession of existing financial contacts is advantageous
-Skills to provide maintenance and develop new sales within existing clients
-Aptitude to excel in a fast paced, rapidly growing environment
-Japanese, Italian, German, Spanish, French a plus
