The Role:
Collecting due debts from customers worldwide, which includes invoices raised by the clients other offices in Europe. Assisting the European Credit Manager with european payments, intercompany reconciliations and in-house projects.
Main Duties:
Ensure customers pay to agreed payment terms.
Manage the timely resolution of customer queries.
Credit checks for new customers and regular credit reviews for all existing customers.
Compilation of various reports in a concise manner.
Allocate correctly monies received from customers.
Maintain ships stop list.
Provide cover for European Credit Manager.
Carry out any other reasonable management request.
The Candidate:
Proven experience working in international credit management.
Experience of inter-company reconciliations.
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Good negotiation/communication skills.
Second European language, preferably French, Italian or Spanish.
