European Credit Controller

Edgware - Permanent - potential earnings of c. £35,000.00 + benefits

Based in Edgware, GKN Freight Services requires an European Credit Controller to be solely responsible for all European collections and procedures including credit vetting and credit analysis.

The successful candidate needs to be extremely competent and capable in all aspects of credit management and control and will have prior knowledge of legal procedures and credit vetting. In addition to these standard credit control activities the role encompasses significant proportion of businesses with other GKN group companies requiring firm but tactful approach to maximise cash flow.

Who we're looking for

We are looking for a self-starter with strong initiative and ability to liaise with managers and directors throughout Europe. The candidate will be educated to degree level and / or possess an ICM qualification, and be capable of suggesting process improvements and consistent levels of debtor and cash reporting. The successful candidate will be confident, assertive but with a good balance of diplomacy and persistence.

Due to the multinational nature of the business any European languages and in particular Spanish is preferred.
