********* Part time Italian Accountant *********



Internet based company situated in the Docklands area is seeking an Accountant .The successful candidate should be experienced in Management accounts production and have solid working knowledge of the nominal ledger. In addition experience of Sage MMS and Sage Payroll is preferred. Qualified by experience will suit, although a minimum of 3 years practical experience is essential.

Language requirements: English and Italian .This position will be on a part time basis, approximately 20 hours per week, hours are flexible.

As a key member of the Company you will be responsible for all the Purchase Ledger, monthly payroll, and yearly end statutory reporting, production of the month end and year end balance sheet and profit and loss accounts. You will also liaise with the companies auditors.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Bank reconciliations
• Internal transactions
• Petty cash
• Balance sheet reconciliations and basic cash flow forecasts/projections
• Maintenance of the companies’ sales and purchase ledger.
• VAT/PAYE/NIC returns
• Fixed asset register and depreciation postings
• Management accounts including Balance Sheet & Profit & Loss production
• Communication with the companies’ auditors/tax advisors in accordance with the statutory audit.
• Costs reviews and recommendations.
• Liaise with HR /accountant in Switzerland /Multi currency bank accounts and associated transactions.



Salary is £16.000 for 20 hours per week.
