A rapidly expanding company in Yeovil are looking for Business Development Representatives to drive business forward looking after existing customers and gain new leads.

You would be responsible for a geographical area within the UK you will provide an excellent telephone support service to customers, with an aim of developing a professional, reliable relationship, whilst maximising all sales opportunities. 

The overall aim is to develop the level and value of business activity within the account, to necessitate a transfer of the account management to external sales.

 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 



- Call ‘telephone contact \' customers on a monthly basis.
- Cold call prospective customers.
- Make welcome calls to new customers.
- Maintain accurate information on computer databases and spreadsheets.
- Answer customer queries about company website.
- To make follow-up calls to customers who have made requests for a catalogue.
- Contact non-spend customers who have an account but haven\'t used it for a while.
- Work towards departmental budgets and strict deadlines.
- Dealing effectively and professionally with customer complaints.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- To be able to take on additional responsibilities as and when required to assist the company in the day-to-day running of the business. You MUST be motivated and driven, have experience working to targets and have a positive and enthusiastic approach to work.
