As a SAP software partner, our client is the world leading provider of pricing systems for retail and wholesale fuels. With over 17 years of expertise, they specialise in working with the largest global organisations to smaller national businesses. They are now looking to recruit a talented Bilingual Pre-Sales Consultant to join their team.

As a key part of the sales team, in this role you will be responsible for providing front line technical and business consulting support to the team - playing an integral role in the sales cycle. Your focus for this role will be to provide the principle technical liaison between the sales, professional services and technical teams within Europe, Latin America and Asia.

As a Pre-Sales Consultant your position will involve undertaking detailed analysis of key prospects, their business processes and opportunities to use our client’s software. You will also proactively develop relationships and opportunities with prospects, involving a lot of field work with an emphasis on extensive travel to Europe, Latin America and Asia.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- acting as the product and services expert to the sales team
- acting as the technical liaison with Professional Services and Research and Development departments
- advising on interfacing requirements for implementation
- participating in the preparation of tenders, proposals and sales engagements
- providing product demonstrations as required

To succeed as the Bilingual Pre-Sales Consultant you must be able to demonstrate high-level pre-sales experience, gained within software. You will also need to be degree educated (or equivalent) preferably in a Business, Management, IT or analytical subject, and you must have effective interpersonal skills.

With your ability to make presentations, you should also possess strong time management skills, the ability to work under pressure and the confidence to build strong relationships. As you will give presentations to overseas clients, you will need good English language skills and be fluent in at least one other foreign language. The ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate extensive retail and pricing experience, preferably from within the Oil and Gas industry – but this is not essential.
