Job Description
Technical Support Engineer speaking one of Swedish, Finnish, Spanish, Italian or Hebrew (as well as fluent English) for a major global Business Intelligence Software Vendor.
You will be dealing with the company's largest customers so experience supporting external clients is extremelybeneficial.
You will not be dealing with end users . your customers will be from the technology departments of these high profile clients, so a deep technical knowledge is essential.
Technical skills and issues vary so issues can range from OS level -Windows/Unix (Solaris, Linux) to portal/sever problems - Apache, Tomcat, IIS.
Skills in databases/database connectivity such as ODBC would also be beneficial.
Candidates will have a good understanding in some of the following technologies (the more the better):
- Windows/Unix- Linux or Solaris
- Web portal such as Sharepoint,
- Databases: Oracle, SQL Server,
- Database connectivity such as ODBC,
- Webserver, Tomcat, Apache or IIS,
- Networking TCP/IP, Connectivity.
- You will be excellent at troubleshooting. You will be handling between 2-5 highly complex technical problems per day.
