Job Description
The HRC is a department in which employees get an accelerated career progression in Human Resources and are able to compress many years of experience into a couple of years work experience.
This is because the HRC is Ciscos first point of contact for all HR matters, including recruitment, reward, relocation, on-boarding, HR systems, development, absence and succession. Furthermore, the HRC builds more specialist knowledge among its employees after they develop a broad overview, allowing them to become subject matter experts (SMEs) in some of the support subjects.
The exposure gained across an international arena by supporting Cisco colleagues in many countries is highly valued by other parts of the HR organization.
Job Description:
The role will provide HR generalist support and HR program support to employees in Central & Eastern Europe, which typically includes:
Process maps, designs and improves processes where necessary.
Implements and supports human resources corporate programs and policies; analyzing business situations from which answers can be readily obtained;
Leverages the expertise of people in other organizations to serve all facets of customers' needs;
Participates in effective change implementation.
Applies knowledge of benefits and other human resources-related legislation for assigned geography or area.

Skills and experiences required for this role:
A human resources shared service centre professional OR a recent Human Resources or Development graduate with some work experience OR a recruitment consultant looking to move into generalist human resources.
A working knowledge of HR services and programs (Essential)
IT literate and able to learn new (HR) systems specific to Cisco systems (including Oracle HR)
Excellent customer service skills (Essential)
Ability to handle highly complex issues and bring to successful resolution (Essential)
Self-starter and good problem solving skills (Essential)
Strong written and oral communication (Essential)
European Language; Hungarian or Czechoslovakian (Essential)
Excellent collaboration and teamwork (Essential)

The HRC Representative works as part of a team that provides quality customer service by helping resolve routine and complex HR-related questions, issues and escalations. Manages escalations that may also include special cases through inbound calls, on-line or written requests coming from a variety of sources, including: Field HR, client managers, employees, or other HRC team members.
