Job description

The Front Desk Technical Consultant is responsible for advising GM and Opel dealers in technical questions. To be able to answer questions about product problems and information enquiries as quickly and effectively as possible, the Consultant gather data from the GM databanks, information used in prior cases and his own practical experience. The goal is to achieve a high customer satisfaction and to turn the ownership of a General Motors into a real experience!
There is opportunity for regular travel to Germany.

Ideal candidate

You can put your career into gear if you have an education as a car technician (car mechanic, car electrician, master mechanic, automotive engineer) or a college i.e. university degree in engineering and several years of automotive technical work experience – preferably with GM experience. Strong diagnostic and trouble shooting skills are essential to be successful in this position.

Resilient to stress, motivated and flexible, you will enjoy solving sophisticated technical problems and like working in a team. Furthermore, you have excellent analytical abilities and you are comfortable in using computer and databases. Willing to provide your profound technical consulting services (spoken and written) all over the world, you are emphasizing your language skills.

In addition to your Dutch language skills, proficiency in English or German is a prerequisite because of our European multinational meetings, and for systems issues, performance evaluation and training purposes.
