Job Description
Our client has a generalist HR role, responsible for partnering with management across the Europe & Africa region with particular focus on France, Germany and Italy.
Responsibilities
Become a trusted Business Partner in E&A region by building strong and productive relationships with management at Director level and below.
In conjunction with HR Director, translate business plans into specific HR initiatives and projects.
Coach and support managers to raise their capability to lead and manage change, raise organizational performance and reinforce corporate culture and values
Work in partnership with global HR colleagues to implement HR initiatives
Partner with the HR Consultant, EA to ensure HR compliance with employment legislation in each of the E&A countries in relation to handbooks, employment contracts, changing terms and conditions of employment, terminations and employee relations issues.
Partner with the business to manage complex E&A ER issues .
Ensure HRSC processes accurately incorporate all requirements of EA schemes.
Administer global programs, procedures and plans related to HR activities.
Conducts termination interviews and compiles statistical reports and information. Ensures that legal requirements are met in terms of employee relations to minimize exposure to liability.
Key Skills & Requirements
Fluent English and German required. With French or Italian desirable
Previous experience of managing French & German employee relations issues
Previous experience in a HR generalist role supporting a European client group
Experience gained with a Global organization in the technology sector would be a distinct advantage
Exposure to supporting a European wide employee base
CIPD qualified would be a distinct advantage
Experience of Oracle 11i system advantageous
Strong business acumen and commercial focus
Comfortable working in a fast paced, results driven organization
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
