The company

This is a global company in the Media industry, producing some of the most well known films and games. They trade a lot of different products from films, toys, video games etc.

The Role

To ensure localized assets are correctly translated, consistent with the English and correctly implemented into the game or print production.
Testers will be required to play games and replicate the bugs; and then to regress them within new builds. You will work within a team under the direction of the Localization Group and your task is to find, report and regress defects found within assigned games. Methodically test the product and give feedback based on pre-determined test plans and test scripts and ensure that incorrect translations are amended accurately. All issues found must be accurately reported and tracked within the internal database. The tester must be able to perform functional, technical and linguistic checks on printed materials.

The Person

You should be mother tongue standard in Dutch and educated to high standard of English language, with a deep understanding of grammar and spelling.
Previous localization experience would be an advantage especially in as a games tester, but is not essential. You should work methodically and have excellent attention to detail. It is important to have clear communication skills, both spoken and written and to be able to follow technical instructions. As you will be working in a team it is of great importance to be a team player who is willing to learn through experience.
Ideally you are a keen video games player and have experience in the use of playing consoles.
