Job Description
Title: Japanese speaking Customer Service Agent (Reservations)
Location: West London
Salary: £16,650, plus excellent benefits
Starting date: 28 July 2008.
International airline, based in West London, has a requirement for Japanese speaking Reservation staff. Please note that candidates must work 1 weekend a month and 2 bank holidays a year. There is also a shift pattern: 8.00 - 16.30 and 9.00 - 17.30 from Monday to Friday, 9.00 - 17.30 on Saturday/Sunday/Bank Holiday. Candidates must be able to work these times.
Duties and responsibilities:
· Achieve set sales and service goals.
· Ensure that a good working relationship is maintained with the general public, travel agency and tour managers.
· Provide product information.
· Determine customer needs and provide essential services.
· Build passenger reservation records.
· Operate a visual display terminal and wear a telephone headset and/or earpiece.
· Quote fares.
· Perform additional duties as required.
Candidates should be customer-focussed, with excellent communication skills (the ability to talk and also to listen is essential). Fluency in both English and Japanese is required.
