Job Description

Reporting to the Sales Team Leader for Northern EMEA, Rights Management, this is a sales role with the basic task of managing and developing SafeNet’s existing customer base in the Netherlands and a subset of the existing customer base in the UK.

On top of the baseline account management in the Netherlands and UK the candidate will be responsible for new business generation primarily in the Netherlands and partially the UK market, and general support of the Sales Team in the Northern Territory.

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the Sentinel Hardware Key range of software security solutions and anti piracy products being sold and marketed to our customers and prospects, with additional support for selling our software based licensing product RMS to prospects in the Netherlands and certain areas of the UK market.

The Sales Executive will work the market primarily by phone and online media - there will also be a requirement for some external facing customer/prospect visits as well as visiting certain trade events/fairs for the purpose of finding new sales opportunities.

A group of existing accounts will be assigned along with a new business quota to reach quarterly and annual sales targets

Qualification/ Skills/ Experience Requirements:

• Educated to degree level with a business/ sales/ IT related qualification.
• Proven track record in selling IT solutions in a designated EMEA region
• To converse well with the customers and prospects, the candidate should be able to understand their needs and applications well, which requires
o A good, all round technical understanding of software development terminology, Client/Server, Windows & Network environments.
o A good understanding of (at least some) customer industries like CAD, Automation, Simulation, Testing, Telecommunication, Automotive, Medical Instruments, Geology etc.
• Well-motivated self-starter who is comfortable at dealing with new enquiries and closing new business on the phone.
• Someone who has demonstrated the ability to successfully build a pipeline of ‘new’ sales opportunities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent team player.
• High levels of drive.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Fluent English is mandatory, Dutch language skills are a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include, but are not limited, to, the following:

• Account management for existing customer accounts in a designated territory via phone (Sentinel Hardware Key range).
• Generation of new accounts within a designated territory via phone (Sentinel Hardware Key range).
• Completion of ad hoc project work as required.
