German Speaking Buyer
Our client is an international company that is currently looking for a German Speaking Buyer.
Location: Cambridgeshire
Role information:
You will take accountability and responsibility for the purchasing and stock management of a portfolio of group components for site business units, to support the achievement of business objectives and the provision of superior service in a high quality, timely, cost-effective and resource-efficient way.
Responsibilities:
• To build and maintain a good working knowledge of buying principles and contractual regulations, stock management practices, company products and services, customers, working practices, and the computer software to perform the role efficiently and effectively
• To contribute to the overall department objectives and plan by
• Sharing information with others to enable them to fulfill their role
• Using knowledge, information and skills in planning and working for the department
• Sharing ideas and suggestions for improvements
• To provide a comprehensive, proactive, effective purchasing and stock management service of group components for the site business units
• To build and maintain a good working knowledge of buying principles and contractual regulations, stock management practices, company products and services, customers, working practices, and the computer software to perform the role efficiently and effectively
Requirements
• Fluency in German
• A' Levels and/or business administration qualification and/or relevant experience
• Conversant in Microsoft Office products
• Knowledge of hydraulic products
• SAP R3 or similar integrated system
Salary and additional information
Salary is up to £25,000
25 days holiday each year (rising by one day each year, totaling 29 days), holiday bonus, 37.5 hours to be worked weekly, pension & death on service, sports and social club, staff canteen
