Are you a fluent Dutch speaker with experience in banking and payments? Do you want to be part of a world leading company with aggressive expansion plans? Then this might just the role for you.
My client is a leader in offering HR and Payroll services to different blue chip companies around the world. They are looking to recruit an experienced Dutch speaker to join their European banking team for the launch of the Dutch Payroll Disbursement System (PDS) for their clients in the Netherlands.
Role:
·To ensure the Banking related systems, controls and processes are ready for the target “go-live” and to ensure all related faults identified post go-live are documented, escalated and resolved where possible – or adequate compensating controls/processes are put in place and documented.
·To learn the underlying Business Processes within the existing UK environment
·To assist the European Banking Manager in bringing the new product to market in Netherlands – through the wider Project Team.
·To create the “steady state” day-to-day process for PDS NL with procedures clearly defined and documented.
·To ensure all PDS NL Payroll (employee net pay) and Post Payroll payments are released on time and fully reconciled within a controlled environment.
Requirements:
·Fluent Dutch. Essential.
·Knowledge and understanding of Banking, payment methods and clearing timescales (Dutch clearing - advantageous).
·Knowledge and understanding of credit and risk assessment
·Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles.
·Experience with e-Banking Systems
·Experience with ERP systems. (Oracle Financials advantageous)
·Knowledge and understanding of payroll processing
·Experience of payroll processing and Tax regulations in The Netherlands advantageous
·Experience of working in a deadline driven, tightly controlled/regularly audited payments environment
·Ability to operate in a multi national environment. The underlying Business Processes will involve daily liaison with colleagues in Canada, UK, NL and India.
Experience in the following would be advantageous
·Payment methods and clearing cycles in the Netherlands
·Installation and the day to day operation of e-Banking systems
·Electronic interfaces between ERP and e-Banking systems
·Customer Service
