Pearl Linguistics is seeking for its Recruitment Manager.
In this important role, you will have overall responsibility for:
Advertising for new translators
Testing translators skills with specialist tests
Selection of each language team
Putting together a team of translators for a specific project/contract
Creating and maintaining an extensive and organised database of qualified linguists
Assisting Project Managers in finding the right translator for a specific translation assignment
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of professional translation experience
Extensive knowledge in translator qualifications, accreditations and specialist areas
Extensive knowledge in the translation market in the UK including agencies, governing bodies and translator associations
In-house editing skills
University degree (all degrees will be considered, Linguistics preferred)
Being able to multi task, take initiative and resolve problems quickly
maintain an enthusiastic and friendly approach to clients and linguists even at the busiest and most stressful times
ability to work under pressure
Extremely fluent written and oral English
good organization skills
strong commitment to quality and eye to detail
excellent IT skills - basic knowledge in excel is a must
