Credit Controller
Salary: £18k-£20K + Benefits

Our Client, a leading manufacturer of computer hardware products with its European headquarters in South West London, is now recruiting for Credit Controller


POSITION SUMMARY:

Overall responsibility for effectively administering and coordinating customer accounts while maintaining a high level of customer service.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

•To resolve payment discrepancies with our customers.
•To issue credit when appropriate under our price protection policy.
•To liaise with our Sales team on a daily basis regarding customer account orders.
•To prepare and conduct all collection correspondence through verbal and written communication.
•To input and update customer accounts and credit terms on our accounting system.
•To make informed decisions regarding product shipments for customers who are on credit hold.
•To reconcile any account discrepancies.
•To prepare documents as required by auditors.
•To visit customers if and when necessary.
•To perform other work related duties as assigned.


THE CANDIDATE:

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Excellent grasp of the English language essential for daily communication with customers.
•A second European language is an advantage but not essential.
•Ideally educated to A\' level or equivalent.
•Experience in Credit control.
•Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Lotus Notes essential.
•Excellent eye for detail, highly numerical, good organisational skills.
•Proactive, flexible, diplomatic and the ability to cooperate in a team environment.
