This is an exciting opportunity for a professional sales executive to join a high performing and rapidly expanding global Events Sales team. As Gartner continues to grow, we currently have an Events Sales Account Manager role to work within our successful EMEA team.

The successful applicant will pro-actively attract new business to ITxpo and sponsorship programmes in EMEA, as well as develop and maintain relationships with existing accounts.


The successful applicant will further be responsible for the following sales activities within a dedicated territory:-
• Meet or exceed target goals for exhibit and sponsorship sales
• Manage prospect and exhibitor database
• Make outbound telephone & face to face sales calls to meet monthly/quarterly/annual exhibit sales goals
• Develop and manage relationships with current accounts
• Execute lead generation efforts to enhance prospect database
• Provide customer service for exhibit clients, prospects and field enquiries
• Conduct face to face meeting with prospects and clients in target territory
• Visit relevant EMEA industry events


It is essential that the successful candidate have a strong track record within sales and experience selling high value proposals through face to face and telesales activities. Experience in international conference sales, preferably within the ICT industry an advantage, as well as an excellent understanding of how to communicate the value proposition of events to senior level decision makers
