Our client, a leading, international logistics service provider within the travel industry manages complex distribution programmes for food and beverages throughout UK and Europe via outsourced warehouse and transportation partners. The operation is based in the West of London.

A hands-on customer service orientated role, providing analysis and support to a major account, ensuring KPI targets are met, in line with maintaining profitability.
General
This is a key role in our organisation and the emphasis is on the management and control of the flow of goods to our customer and their nominated end users.
Become fully aware of all the detail concerning the management of the accounts ensuring accurate provision of forecasts, product specifications and cost and sales price management:
Develop and maintain communication channels with all stake holders
Understand and manage products for a retail buy on board programme
Liaise with the customer service and buying teams to ensure the right product is available at the right time and in line with stock holding criteria
Invoicing and cost and price management procedures
Customs processes for the international movement of goods
Key tasks:
Liaise with buying team to confirm sufficient inventory levels to ensure stock availability in light of product changes, short deliveries etc.
Understand and calculate on-board product provisioning
Maintain price lists for each of the key customers
Take part in weekly conference calls with key customer.
Prepare usage reports: by product by caterer against forecast and report accordingly.
Monitor and report on end user order patterns to ensure compliance with forecast:
Orders correct against cycle?
New items ordered in timely manner for new cycle?
Financial: maintain standard costing grids for clients
Manage distribution and allocation of catering equipment to the nominated bases
As part of Service Level Commitment:
Preparation and presentation of weekly service level report:
By reason code
Cases delivered vs order
Together with sales staff, compile analysis of caterer\'s compliance with designated order lead times.
Monitor compliance to online web ordering procedures
Experience:
Good educational achievements: graduate preferred.
Customer service or account management experience with a leaning on analysis and report preparation.
An airline or airline catering background would be an advantage.
A dedicated team player is essential who is used to a fast paced environment.
Skills:
Excellent IT skills required as there is substantial use of company ERP software and forecasting software.
Competent user of Microsoft Office necessary, particularly Excel.
Good analytical skills and complete attention to detail.
Good communication skills necessary as position requires interaction with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
