Multilingual PR Account Director

My client is a well established, prestigious company that is currently looking for Multilingual PR Account Director (Italian, French, German, Spanish or an Eastern European)

Responsibilities

• Define and develop (with the appropriate level of support) strategic marketing communications programmes to meet the needs of clients, establishing clear objectives and incorporating consistent measurement and control / reporting processes and fee recommendations. Offer ongoing consultancy advice (again with support) for the definition and implementation of those programmes.
• Monitor the delivery of the agreed PR Programme to deadlines and matching client expectations. Match the available internal and external resources to ensure that the programme is run productively and profitably. Bring to attention of PR BGD where more resource is required.
• To identify potential fundamental account management problems and refer to PR BGD. Work with PR BGD as necessary to address and solve those problems.
• Maintain an appropriate level of in-depth knowledge of the key media and journalists in clients' market sectors.
• When necessary, drafting appropriate written material as required by the PR Account Manager
• Demonstrate leadership qualities in account handling and activities in general, working to constantly improve the overall effectiveness, morale, work environment and profitability of the company.
• To maintain rigorous quality control over work produced by junior staff.
• Monitor ongoing staff development and prepare for review sessions/appraisals to ensure that clear mutual agreement is reached between executive and line manager in terms of skill gaps, training, career development, promotion and remuneration.
• Work in co-operation with PR Business Group Director and the Finance Department to keep all parties aware of client billing and related client issues, and to ensure the client is satisfied with these arrangements.
• Ensure a high level of two-way communication between that the PR Business Group Director and the PR executives so that all parties are aware of and understand company- and client-related issues as appropriate.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of all major technology industries and invest time in researching new emerging technologies and marketing disciplines/strategies. Where appropriate, the company will provide training to assist in this, but the PR Account Director is also expected to invest his/her own time to maintain the necessary understanding.


Requirements

7 years experience in similar role would be highly desirable
Fluency in : Italian, French, German, Spanish or Eastern European language


Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (depending on experience)
