Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen within a global manufacturing company based in Leeds city centre.
POSITION SUMMARY
*To provide on-going support to the field sales and service operating teams in the accurate and timely validation of product orders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· To validate product sales orders
· To provide business data to management for reporting purposes.
· To assume responsibility for all administration of the order validation process, from receiving an order and analysing the contract to determine legality and acceptability, through to ensuring the timely booking of the order and following up the order through the fulfilment process
· To analyse, evaluate and process changes to existing sales orders and relevant purchase orders
· To contact customers to ensure sales orders are dealt with
· To ensure a high standard of after sales service, i.e. responding to general customer queries and purchase order queries
· Facilitating customer contract administration and MLA administration
· Update Order Statuses in system using intercompany reports
· Check and coordinate shipping invoices from freight forwarders
· Maintain the delivery and receipt of goods within the system to ensure all transactions are correctly processed
· Obtain official shipping documents as required and monitor commercial invoices and any other relevant documentation
· Responsibility for Letters of Credit: opening, controlling, overview
· Arranging shipping inspections as appropriate
· Provide regular updates to customers on status of orders and shipments

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
· Requires strong verbal and written communication skills
· Experience of working in a customer services environment
· Knowledge of exporting procedure desirable
· Fluent in French/English
· Must be customer focused.
· Ability to prioritise with excellent organisational skills
· Pro-active
· PC skills are essential..
Monday to Friday 08.30 to 17.00 with 1 hour for lunch.
